If you thought the hideout in the James Bond film “The Man with the Golden Gun” was spectacular, imagine a place where there is 3,000 such limestone islands clustered together in the East Sea of Halong Bay. Paddle through caves into secret lagoons, drift down channels surrounded by cliffs and forest and sail out into the open sea. Relax on the deck of our luxurious double-sailed junk and look forward to seafood bought straight from passing fishing craft. Swim alone amongst the limestone islets under the stars and take a breather at a floating village hidden amongst the islands. Our fiber glass sea kayaks make for satisfying travel, whether you are an Olympic champion or first time enthusiast.

Leave Hanoi by road for Ha Long Bay. Enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life. Arrive in Ha Long and board the Huong Hai traditional sailing junk. you are welcomed on a traditional junk with a refreshing drink and get some boat information as well as kayak orientation. This is time for us to settle into a private comfortable cabin and unpack for a two days exploring Halong Bay. While cruise the exquisite waters try the regions fresh seafood. Visit the recently discovered Surprise Grotto with its great views, and on the next island see the yawning mouth of Bo Nau Cave. Alternatively journey to Dau Go Cave and nearby see the famous stalagmites and stalactites of Thien Cung Cave. Enjoy a swim and kayaking in the emerald waters of Ha Long Bay at any spot that you wish to visit. We row our kayak past the limestone karst formations which are littered with beaches and beautiful caves. Watch the sun set over the bay whilst enjoying a delicious dinner The night paddle is available for kayaking fervors.. Overnight on board of Huong Hai junk.
Day 2: Ha Long Bay (B/ L/ D)
After breakfast, the junk weaves through strange-shaped rock formations that invite comparisons from tortoise to dragons and even General de Gaulle’s nose and enjoy kayaking through the tunnel cave and the beauty of Ha Long Bay. Overnight on board
Day 3: Ha Long-Hanoi (B/ L/ -)
The sailing junks navigating past over 3,000 limestone islands and outcrops jutting out of the clear and emerald water of the bay makes for a marvelous scene. We have an option to get up early to admire the splendid scenery and see the fishmen on a morning catch. The huge breakfast is an impressive way to start our active day. We enjoy the second paddle from Luon cave towards Man Head and Rua rocks. These imposing islets are aptly named by their distinctive shapes. After breakfast before cruising back to Ha Long City. En route we cruise through Teapot Island, Chopsticks and Bai tho Mountain. After another wonderful fresh seafood lunch on board disembark at the dock at Ha Long City. Transfer back to Hanoi by road and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Hanoi
