Today, you arrive in Hanoi, a city of lakes, shaded boulevards, public parks, and the capital of Vietnam. You are welcomed by your local tour guide in Noi Bai airport, transfer to downtown, and check in hotel.
In the afternoon, visit the thousands years old Temple of Literature - the first university in Vietnam, Tran Quoc pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Vietnam that built in 541 year. Take picture at West Lake. Dinner served with Shrimp Cake Speciality of the West Lake. Then, enjoy the unique traditional water puppet show. Overnight stay in Hanoi capital.
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Early this morning, visit Yen Tu Mountain that situated within the immense arched mountain range of north-eastern Vietnam, Yen Tu Mountain bears at its peak the Dong Pagoda: at an altitude of 1,068m above sea level. The beauty of Yen Tu consists in the majesty of its mountains mingling with the ancient and solemn quietness of its pagodas, shrines and towers. You can get to Hoa Yen Pagoda at the altitude of 534m by the cable car system recently put into operation and will see on this peak two 700-year-old frangipane trees. From there, you will continue walking up stairs to pagodas of minor note lined up along the path leading to Dong Pagoda. There you will feel like walking on clouds. If the weather is agreeable, from this summit you can admire the dramatic landscape of the northeast of Vietnam.
In the afternoon, we’ll drive from Hanoi to one of the most magnificent scenic environments in the world, Ha Long Bay. Covering 577 square miles, this vast bay is filled with more than 3,000 limestone “peaks” or karsts that jut from the deep blue water as far as the eye can see. We’ll spend a half day exploring this overwhelming seascape from the decks of a traditional Vietnamese boat. Comfortable and intimate, we’ll be able to explore Ha Long Bay’s most beautiful spots with time to swim and even visit some of the largest rock formations and caves. Visit Thien Cung Heavenly Palace Grotto, Dau Go Hidden Wood Grotto and take picture at Stone Dog Islet, Incense Burner islet, Fighting Cocks Islet, swim in Titov Island’s beach. This promises to be one of your most memorable travel experiences in Asia. Lunch will be served on board. Check in hotel. The rest of the day is your free time to swim in Bay Chay beach or visit Tuan Chau Island, take tram to look overview of the resort, relax in sand beach, enjoy white whale show…Overnight stay in Ha Long..
Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we drive back to Hanoi capital, en route, visit Dong Trieu ceramic village. Arrive in Hanoi, a city of lakes, shaded boulevards, public parks, and the capital of Vietnam. Check in hotel.
In the afternoon, taking cyclo ride (pedicab) for a 60 minute tour of the city's traditional "36 streets of 36 wares" in the old Quarter and Hoan Kiem lake vicinity. Visit to the Ngoc Son Temple on the lake shore. Sightseeing and shopping at the famous Dong Xuan market. Enjoy dinner with “Cha Ca La Vong” - La Vong grilled fish pies. You are free to wander in tranquil streets in the capital at night. Overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi departure (B/L/-)
After breakfast, visit the imposing gray marble Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, Ba Dinh historical square, the President Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and his fish pond, One pillar pagoda. Then, transfer to airport for your departure flight.
