Cat Ba - the pearl island is the well-known archipelago in the whole country with a spectacular array of sea and island scenery, it covers an area of 20,000ha in the North-East of Hai Phong. It takes about one hour by high speed ferry to go to the island, or by land it is about 60 km passing 2 ferries, you will easily reach the pearl island. In the spacious sea, we suddenly see a tropical jungles.
With its 10km in length, Lang Co Beach bordered a section of the National Highway No1A, nearly Hai Van Pass, and 24km from Bach Ma Area. In Lang Co Sea, there are various kind of shrimps, lobster, sea shrimp, crab, butter-fish, mackerel fish, oysters... Lang Co Beach is 20 km from Danang and 80 km south of Hue. Lang Co is the most easterly point of Vietnam and is a great place to watch the sunrise.
Bai Dai or Long Beach stretches for 10 km from the southern part of the Lo river along the road from Nha Trang to Cam Ranh Airport. The beach has pristine white sands and shallow turquoise water so its safe for children and non-swimmers. In the summer, travelers can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and cool breezes whilst lying under the popular trees. However, it can be difficult to find accommodation here. Simple local cafes and restaurants serve a variety of seafood at lower price than in the city of Nha Trang.
Bai Dai Beach is a several miles long beach completely unspoiled Northwest of the island. There was absolutely nothing on the beach: no tourists, no bars, nothing!
Non Nuoc Beach stretches 5 km with long, smooth and fine white sand; the seawater is unspoiled, pure and moderate waters; the sand slopes gently and suits all people want to bathe in the sea. The beach locates near Ngu Hanh Son hill foot, 12km from the city center. Non Nuoc beach has wave, climate and salinity that suit sea sports. In 1993, an international surfing competition was held here with the participation of 40 foreign surfers.
About 2 km from the city city center; the beach stretches to Nam Tho; it has beautiful landscape and qualified services such as hotels, sea food restaurants, fresh water bathing, renting parachutes and buoy lease. Many luxurious villas with over 100 rooms are available near the sea and restaurants with many delicious and attractive dishes. My Khe beach is the most crowded of Danang beaches and be ensured of public order, security, fresh environment and guarantee safety by local government.
Beaches around Son Tra peninsula: 8km from Danang, passing Han River Bridge is Son Tra. Around Son Tra is many beautiful and wild beaches such as Tien Son beach, But beach, Rang beach, Con beach, Nam beach( south), Bac beach( north)…The beaches have a quite large slope, clean blue water and tourism services: resorts, diving, fishing, climbing mountain.Coming to these beaches you can enjoy sea bathing and seafood specialties. You can go around the peninsula by speedboats. Especially, in Nam beach, tourist can rent canoes to take offshore fish farm, fishing village together with a system of restaurants, fishing area, swimming pool; tourist can fish, watch and enjoy the dishes.
Here you can enjoy the finest weather in Vietnam (Mui Ne has the lowest annual rainfall in the entire country). Enjoy fine dining or local street food. Spend an exciting day of windsurfing or a reclusive morning at the White Sand Dunes. Shop at the Mui Ne Village Markets for cheap clothing and local produce, or visit the Phan thiet City to shop for traditional Vietnamese arts and crafts.
Van Phong Bay is located 50km from Nha Trang toward the north.Here is a sand hill that is 18km long, situated between the main land and two islets creating a bay with a very beautiful landscape. At present, Van Phong is ranked 1st of the 4 ideal sea tourist centers by the Sea World Association.This beautiful landscape is endowed with wonderful natural sceneries and beaches of fine sand, an ideal temperate climate, surrounded by hills, mountains and tropical forests.
