Tan Long Stork Sanctuary – Soc Trang
The sanctuary lies at Long Binh Commune, Nga Nam District, Soc Trang Province; 17km from Phu Loc Town. Over the past 20 years, this sanctuary has been home to thousands of storks. It has been recognized as one of the green tourist attractions.
The 1.5ha Tan Long stork garden in Soc Trang Province is home to hundreds of thousands of storks and other birds.The garden contains about seven types of storks including white storks, black storks, red-headed storks and vac (night heron) and is also home to co quam (ibis).
